Overview

The Atlantic Yards Campus project utilized the full suite of The Lumiere Group’s services and included a vast range of artwork types, including multiple commissions. The Executive Strategist and Curator worked with members of the client’s executive team and other stakeholders to ensure corporate, regional, and building sourcing goals were met. The Lumiere Group’s Project Managers oversaw and maintained individual floor and commission budgets to successfully exceed all goals and come in under budget.

The project took place over several years and the team traveled to the site frequently to advise on appropriate artwork locations, visit with artists and galleries in person, and coordinate with numerous vendors. The team also worked closely with the local employee community to develop an art program that supported placemaking for visitors and imbued the workspace with authentic local flavor.

In total, The Lumiere Group facilitated the acquisition of 101 artworks for the new campus across two buildings and the exterior plaza. Our Project Management and Logistics team oversaw a rolling schedule of art installations, in-person or remotely, with an emphasis on wayfinding and consistent placement throughout buildings.
