Overview

The Atlantic Yards Campus project included a vast range of artworks, including multiple commissions. We worked with members of the client’s executive team and other stakeholders to meet corporate, regional, and building sourcing goals.

Since the project took place over several years, we traveled to the site frequently to advise on appropriate artwork locations, visit artists and galleries in person, and coordinate with numerous vendors. Working closely with the local employee community, we collaborated on an art program that supported placemaking for visitors and imbued the workspace with authentic local voices.

In total, The Lumiere Group facilitated the acquisition of 101 artworks for the new campus across two buildings and the exterior plaza. We oversaw a rolling schedule of art installations, in-person and remotely, with an emphasis on wayfinding and consistent placement throughout buildings. The Lumiere Group oversaw and maintained multiple budgets to successfully exceed all goals and come in under budget.
