Overview
EQ Office approached The Lumiere Group to address the role of the art collection when it revitalized the U.S. Bank Center from its original 1960s design to a Class A, LEED Gold and ENERGY STAR certified commercial building in the heart of downtown Seattle. The project launched with a complete inventory of the 944,000 sq. ft. building’s artworks, including a collection of small three-dimensional artworks and three large-scale sculptures incorporated in the building’s infrastructure.
Our team oversaw and meticulously documented the movement of the artworks. By completing research-informed valuations, we provided EQ Office with documentation on the historical significance of their collection. Deliverables included current art market insights, professionally prepared condition reports, and detailed lists of artwork components for future re-installation.
